Before started therapy I was simply lost. It felt like I was trapped in a car, headed a certain direction without knowing who was in the driving seat. I was struggling with handling my emotions, body dysmorphia and lack of self-empathy. Working with Bal has quite literally turned my life around. She listens intently, understands with empathy and helps you connects the dots as to why you feel and behave a certain way. She doesn’t tell you “do this and you’ll be fine”. She’ll open your eyes simply through conversation and sometimes will suggest little tricks that can act as a band-aid to help you heal a wound. Because of her I have now reconnected with my inner child, I feel safe, confident and feel true happiness and love. I would blindly recommend Bal to anyone who are eager to understand who they are why they are so.

Balvinder Mann is a good therapist, providing good techniques to cope with trauma and anxiety in a client. She can also improve self esteem, and she taught me how to deal with flashbacks by using positive thought techniques.
